Sr. Safety Environmental Compliance Technician (E&P Company) - Evans, CO

An independent oil and gas company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production is currently looking to grow their team in Evans, CO with the addition of a Sr. Safety Environmental Compliance.

Relocation is available for out of state candidates.

As a Sr. Safety Environmental Compliance Technician you will be responsible for the following:
  • Track, document and maintain field equipment and facility site diagrams, for regulatory reporting purposes. This data is essential for the efficiency of various departments in the company.
  • Provide graphical and analytical support to various operational teams and regional management.
  • Develop mapping and drawing management system, required for regulatory reporting and in-house use.
  • Assist the ES&RC and production reporting departments with the integration of any new facilities and/or acquisitions, into existing internal databases and systems.
  • Assist the ES&RC group in tracking and managing field compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Assist Operations in tracking field equipment and ECD inspections.
  • Coordinates with field operations and environmental compliance group to conduct thorough initial emissions leak checks on new facilities.
  • Assist the ES&RC departments in identifying and tracking any new and potential emissions sources.
  • Coordinates and oversees field testing programs.
  • Attends seminars and training as necessary in order to develop an understanding of area federal, state and local safety requirements
  • Assists as needed in compliance review activity with Corp ES&RC Group, and periodically assists as a team member in cross-area audits.


Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline with environmental or safety studies preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive environmental and safety experience preferably in Oil and Gas E&P Operations
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations as they pertain to safety and environmental
  • Must have valid driver's license and be able to pass a driving and criminal background check
