I have an urgent opening for a Sterilization/Validation Engineer to work with an exciting and rapidly expanding multinational medical device company in the West of Ireland.This is a 6 month fixed term contract role.
Job Summary:
Lead the Sterilization Validation process for external vendors using Gamma and Ethylene Oxide Sterilization methods, provide support to the Validation of a new final cleanline upgrade and packaging process which includes cleanroom and water system validations
Duties:
- Responsible for assessment, validation and routine processing of products for Ethylene Oxide, and Gamma sterilization
- Experience in sterility testing, and Biocompatibility testing, water systems and environmental monitoring
- Involvement in internal and external audits
- Responsible for document generation and maintenance, corrective action generation and closure upon implementation of effective preventative action
Requirements:
- Degree in Microbiology or Life Sciences
- 5+ years testing / validation experience in laboratory and manufacturing facilities
- Previous experience in a Quality function, ideally in Medical Devices
