Service Continuity and Disaster Recovery Manager/DR Manager/Business Continuity Manager CONTRACT.
Essex- Colchester
£450pd - £500pd per day
6-12 month contract
This is a brilliant opportunity to work for a leading international law firm in Colchester who are currently looking for an established Service Continuity & DR Manager to be the primary contact for all ISS disaster and business continuity events and planning within the firm.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of managing global or geographically dispersed teams
- Proven experience of data centre and network technologies
- Project Management
- Supplier Management
- Degree Calibre/ISO/BSE related certification/ITIL Certification/Disaster Recovery Professional Certification
Responsibilities:
The role has several key influencing aspects:
- The firm's Business Continuity strategy and plans.
(i) The DR & Testing Manager will be called on to advise on all IT DR related matters including: budgets, plans, problem escalation and resourcing.
- Systems Providers for the global support of the DR infrastructure and Practice/Client facing systems.
- All ISS teams in order to ensure new product development and strategies are compatible with the DR solution.
