Description
I am looking for a part time (3 days per week) Finance Assistant/Full Charge Bookkeeper who will be responsible for all accounting, including payroll, accounts payable, expense claims and monthly close for my client. The individual must be a self starter capable of dealing with people across various functions and countries.
Location: Slough
Start: ASAP
Rate: Negotiable
Length: 6 months+
Primary Responsibilities:
- Timely filing of monthly accounting reports to parent company including account reconciliations.
- Properly record accruals of expenses, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets etc.
- Timely preparation of payroll and employee expense reimbursements.
- Manage accounts payable including obtaining the required payment approvals.
- Meet regulatory requirements for VAT filings and P11Ds.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exercise judgment to properly record routine financial transactions.
- Issues Purchase Orders
- Does not include revenue or credit and collections
