Description
Work in our clients brand new R&D lab supporting a medium sized group of electronics design engineers. The environment is fast-paced, and their end products are varied, from DAB radios and PVRs to their latest range of wireless loudspeakers for multi-room audio streaming.Opportunity:
You will have the following responsibilities:
* Assembly and test of early prototype PCBs & products
* Prototyping hardware to aid product development
* Re-work and modifications of prototype PCBs
* Occasional mechanical fabrication (screening cans, test jigs etc)
* Product and board testing
* Responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the lab, including tidiness and general
organization
Required Skills:
You must have practical experience of:
*PCB assembly and soldering of SMT components
*Electronic prototyping
*Board level testing using standard lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters etc)
You must also be able to demonstrate knowledge of basic electronics
