Senior Business Consultant - Front Office Asset Management Software

Senior Business Consultant required to join a global asset management software organisation. As a Consultant you will be predominantly focused on large scale implementation projects on site at leading Asset Management / Investment Management firms.

Software:

Consultants will work across the entire Asset Management workflow (across all asset classes) from Order Management, Portfolio management & Decision Making software within the front office, through the performance, risk and compliance and also the back office fund accounting and fund admin.

Responsibilities:
  • Consultants will participate in all aspects of implementations, including analysis, design, configuration, integration and training
  • You will likely have responsibility for the more front office focused aspects of the project
  • Assisting clients with business process modelling through the use of software
  • Advising on process improvements
  • You will spend the majority of time on client site, predominantly in UK
  • Mentoring more junior consultants.


Required experience:

Consultants will have a number of years of experience in one of the following fields:

· Asset Management Software - Ideally from office: Order Management, Portfolio Management or Decision Support -

· Consulting, Implementation or Professional Services experience within the Asset Management sector is essential

Consultants will be able to demonstrate:

· Strong presentation and communication skills are essential.

· Excellent problem solving skills and a solution focused attitude.

· Methodical, hardworking, enthusiastic and an ability to work well under pressure.

· Interest and enthusiasm to use and learn new software packages.

Detailed knowledge at least half of the following:

· Portfolio management and decision making tools in the front office

· Performance Measurement and Attribution

· Settlement Cycles in international markets

· Fixed Income

· Equity based products

· Derivatives

Relevant systems experience: Charles River, Blackrock Aladdin, Simcorp Dimension, Bloomberg AIM, Eze Castle, Thinkfolio, Lantentzero or in-house order management or portfolio management systems

Location: City of London

Salary: 60 - 90k depending on experience
