Role: Network EngineerDaily Rate: €350
Location: Dublin City Centre
Type: 3 month contract with view for extension
A global market-leader in south Dublin, requires a Cisco Network Engineer for a contract position with an excellent daily rate. The successful Cisco Network Engineer will provide support for on local, national and international Area Networks and will ideally have experience working in an ITIL environment.
Day-to-day:
- Administer firewalls, switches and network environment
- Configuration of VLANs and ACL's in Cisco IOS
- Design appropriate solutions for new lines/circuits for customers, making recommendations
- Plan, develop, install and maintain the supported environment
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution of the networking environment.
- Advise on tools, best practice techniques and methodologies.
- Develop and maintain support documentation in accordance with company standards.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- CCNA or similar experience
- CCNP security or similar experience.
- Requires a minimum of Bachelors degree in a related field or foreign equivalent
- Cisco Firewall experience
- Checkpoint Firewall
- 3+ years experience as in similar position.
