I am looking to hire a Contract Manager in IT Commercial Department.
Assignment Objectives:

Experience in managing the day to day operation of a large Applications Development and Maintenance framework agreement with a large blue chip supplier. capable of working in high pressure commercial environment handling the validation of multiple contract changes to the contract framework in support the application transformation delivery work streams, with emphasis in overseeing the management of these contract changes via new Work Orders and/or Contract Change Notes through impacting, collation of comments and direct negotiation with suppliers. To work closely with delivery leads to help define requirements and define Milestone Acceptance Criteria relevant to the work stream. Understanding of project delivery disciplines, specifically risk management, planning, dependencies, securing of financial approvals and Governance processes. ability to confidently negotiate the terms and pricing for any related 3rd Party Statements of Works which would supplement the Application Developers work streams with knowledge of differing commercial models, ie Time & Materials, Fixed Priced., Capped time & Materials, gain share etc. Understanding of project disciplines, specifically risk management, planning, dependencies, relief events and their implications on contract terms to underpin contract negotiations. General understanding of hardware and software agreements, their construct and application of terms. Experience of working in a multi-vendor environment which employs a Tower structure is desirable Must have skills:
MCIPS qualified or demonstrable years of experience of working in commercial management environment. Articulate and confident with ability to provide direct and concise instruction, reports and updates to both delivery and management colleagues. Knowledgeable on the different types of commercial constructs used in industry with the ability to decide on which methodology would best support delivery whilst providing the necessary commercial protections. Demonstrable experience in partnering with large blue chip organisations to achieve successful outcomes Ability to work at pace either on own or as part of team whilst managing multiple tasks on complex applications development programme supporting multiple work streams.
