Senior Automation Test Engineer (Contract)
Responsibilities
- Defining Test Plans and Test Cases
- Creating, maintaining and executing both automated and manual test suites
- Development (automation) of test cases and test-harnesses
- Identification and root cause analysis of potential defects
- Managing defects through defect management system (JIRA)
- Defining and maintaining test metrics
- Identifying and communicating product risks
- Creating Test Reports
Required Skills
- Proven experience developing UI tests with Selenium Webdriver
- Proven experience working in Agile teams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and technical problem solving skills
- Strong Oracle/SQL skills
- Strong Linux/Solaris knowledge
- Highly-driven and self-motivated
- Ability to deal with changing priorities and multiple assignments
- Minimum 5 years test/test automation experience
DESIREABLE SKILLS:
- plSQL Scripting experience.
- Knowledge of Telecom protocols
- Knowledge of TestNG
- Scripting/automation experience with one or more of Bash, Python, Perl, or Groovy
- Experience with Atlassian toolset eg JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo
