Senior / Civil Engineer - Water / Wastewater - Reading or Brighton

Huxley Engineering and one of the UK's leading names in Water Division are looking to recruit Senior / Civil Engineer on permanent basis to join their office in Reading or Brighton.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will:
  • Join an innovative and motivated team of professionals
  • Use your expertise in relevant water/wastewater industry
  • Prepare outline and detailed civil engineering designs
  • Represent the company in technical meetings with our clients
  • Draw and schedule in close partnership with our client and contractors partners
  • Supervise and help develop the work of the more junior staff work
  • Produce technical and commercial specifications


This role is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your technical and management skills through your project work, with great prospects to advance your career within our rapidly expanding Water Division.

The successful Senior Civil Engineer should have experience in the following:
  • Wastewater, pumping station, storage, tanks etc
  • Project management experience
  • Understanding of designer's responsibilities under CDM


In addition (desirable)
  • Experience of delivering Environment Agency flooding projects
  • Chartered (or working towards) engineer
  • Experience of delivering DG5 flood alleviation schemes for UK water companies
  • Knowledge of Infoworks (CS&ICM)
  • Knowledge of either ISIS or TUFlow
  • Knowledge of GIS, MapInfo or Arcview
