Senior Java Developer - Market Risk, SQL, PL/SQL, Data Models
My client is looking for strong Java developers to help deliver the in-house Market Risk application for all traded products across the Bank
The current implementation is done on Oracle 11g, mainly in SQL and PL/SQL but Java will be the preferred language going forward.
The ideal candidate for the role should:
- Be an experienced developer with strong Java skills.
- Ideally have some ability to code in PL/SQL
- Be able to participle in all phases of the project, including Analysis, Design, Development and Testing.
- Be able to transform business requirements into IT requirements and propose a design.
- Have knowledge of data models and their designs.
- Have knowledge of capital markets and financial products, and a good understanding of Market Risk.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
