DATIXWeb
  • Act as the Trust lead for the DATIX Risk Management system and be the responsible person and contact in all related queries/issues associated with the system.
  • Design custom electronic forms to meet the requirements of external agencies, internal groups/bodies/teams and local management procedures of the Trust.
  • Ensure the electronic forms are easy to use, self explanatory (help text and guidance on the form included), and not overly complicated.
  • Manage the implementation of DatixWeb upgrades including; training general and management staff and providing post training support for staff.
  • Provide training manuals to assist general and management staff in the use of DATIXWeb.
  • Actively encourage, promote and assist directorate risk/governance leads to view, assess and act on all records for their directorate.
  • Actively encourage, promote and assist Trust specialists (e.g. Pharmacy, Security, Clinical Equipment, Fire Safety, Health and Safety, Clinical Risk) to view, assess and act on all records for their area of expertise.
  • Ensure that all updates from the software supplier DATIX are analysed in correlation with the release notes and any changes put into effect on the designed report forms and the training manuals.
  • The post-holder is responsible for the username and password management of DATIX and DATIXWeb staff accounts, this includes:

  • o Setting up new users.
  • o Removing access rights when staff leave the Trust.
  • o Unlocking user accounts due to password related issues.
  • o Deleting expired/dormant accounts.

    • Provide advanced user training to managers who want to use DATIXWeb to run reports on their own records.


    Reporting
    • Collation and analysis from all modules, identifying trends and areas of particular risk.
    • Ensure compliance with the requirements (reporting and compliance) of external agencies.
    • Create and distribute combined periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) and trend specific reports for departments that require these in an attempt to reduce the risk to their department/s through proactive action from analysis of these trends.
    • Provide reports as requested for a number of risk management committees.
    • Provide reports for submission to the board through a recognised reporting structure.


    Training
    • Co-ordinate and deliver basic DATIX training for Trust staff across all modules.
    • Co-ordinate and deliver intermediate DATIX training for Trust staff across all modules.
    • Co-ordinate and deliver DATIX report design training for Trust staff across all modules.
    • Co-ordinate and deliver ad-hoc DATIX training for Trust staff as/when requested.
