Description
Stock Equipment Company is looking for a Welder to join our team in Chagrin Falls on a temporary basis.
Duties and responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Shielded metal arc welding, flux core welding, gas metal arc welding and other welding processes
- Weld set up parts
- Weld plate, sheet metal, pipe and bar stock
- Assure parts set up are dimensionally correct
- Prepare joints for welding, welds, grinds out or burns out faulty welds
- Use fixtures, air chipper, portable grinder, tape, wrenches & welding mask
Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Trade or Vocational School (highly desired)
- Welding Certification
- Strong mechanical ability and aptitude
- Able to read and interpret advanced blueprints
- Experience in variety of welding processes listed above
- Demonstrated strong work ethic including solid attendance record
