THE COMPANY

THE OPPORTUNITY
*The main purpose of this role will be the management of third party spend (non-claims) to deliver year-on-year cost savings through best practice strategic sourcing, applying process improvements and managing suppliers, in close collaboration with all relevant Business Units.
*You will also negotiate savings against specific targets in the Indirect areas you are responsible for.
*On top of this you will manage vendors to ensure high service outcomes and work with the key stakeholders within the business to ensure that the business's requirements are understood and met.

YOUR PROFILE
*You will have a proven track record in a senior procurement role from a service-based corporate organisation, with supplier management experience of major external supplier/commercial relationships.
*You will also have a background in commercial analysis and negotiation, and experience in establishing and maintaining an online facility for tracking of contracts and contract knowledge sharing.
*A proven track record of cost savings and service improvement through implemented sourcing strategies would also useful as would being a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply preferred.
