Based in Halifax a Mailings/Communications Manager is required on a contract basis to support a team of customer mailing experts in the delivery of rectification/mandatory/regulatory customer mailings for a major retail bank.

Candidates must have strong experience of customer mailing and ideally experience of working in the financial services/banking sector. Previous experience of managing and delivering regulatory direct mail campaigns and managing external print providers/creative agencies is preferable.

You would be responsible for supporting product team representatives through the mailing process to deliver customer mailings that have been categorised as low impact. This includes ensuring that product teams follow set processes and conducting governance checks where necessary.

Working with various teams, print suppliers and copywriters to produce a mailing strategy and content aligned with business and customer requirements. Identify and manage risk & issues. Support the production of mailing data and ensure that the correct level of quality checks are undertaken to ensure validity of the mailing. Ongoing involvement in overall process improvement.

Excellent communication skills, you will be required to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.

You will need to be flexible as the demand of the role may change over time as the requirements and responsibilities of the overall team/project changes.
