A healthcare company in San Diego is currently recruiting for a SQL server database developer.Main Job responsibilities
- Develop complex stored procedures, views and functions on MS SQL Server (2008 and 2012), utilizing strong TSQL experience
- Create queries, index, statistics, execution plans and DB I/O performance tuning
- Identify weaknesses in T-SQL Code and then improving those weaknesses for future releases
- Utilize Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) to create and run SSIS packages and in generating models for reports with SSRS.
- Utilize software development principles and experience developing within the full life-cycle of a software product
- Analyze data requirements for business applications, develop data models and planning data migration/conversion strategies for internal and externally hosted applications.
- Partner with project teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed databases
- Apply database management consulting skills and gathers user requirements
- Implement and monitor database functionality to ensure stable environments
Required qualifications and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of SQL Server database development experience
- Minimum of 5 years of Data Modeling (Physical/Logical) experience
- Minimum of 3 years of T-SQL stored procedures development experience.
- Professional experience with SSIS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Data Warehouses and/or Data Marts
- MS SQL Server Management Studio
- Experience with SSRS
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools
- Lead experience strongly preferred
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Visio
- Healthcare Industry experience desirable
- SQL certification
- C# experience
Compensation
This position is for a one year contract with great potential for extension or conversion. This position will pay a minimum of $80per hour. The Healthcare provider is eager to hire and encourages all interested
