C# / SQL Developer - Banking - Gloucester - £135pdOur client, a retail bank, are currently looking for a C# / SQL Developer to work in their Gloucester office, on a long-term contract basis.
The ideal candidate will be able to gather requirements, design, develop, maintain and test web based solutions providing full documentation where required.
Core Responsibilities:
Act as Developer/Business Analyst on specific collaborative development with Technical Solutions, focussing efforts on best web based solution, making sound decisions on appropriate avenues for exploration and development, delegating where appropriate to Senior Manager where Risk is apparent or perceived
Working knowledge and good experience of developing in:
* SQL Server 2005
* Expert use of MS Office , particularly VBA (Access, Excel etc.)
* .NET C# web development (framework 3.5)
* Knowledge of system development lifecycle concepts and application
* Experience of System and User Acceptance Testing
* Systems documentation using appropriate design formats
