Location: Dublin

Context: The jobholder will be expected to work as effective member of the overall My Oracle Programme management structure and reports to the Programme Manager.

Role Overview

Responsible for defining and articulating the End to End solution architecture for My Oracle.

Key Accountabilities

To provide technical, functional and architectural expertise around the Oracle Retail toolset and to use that knowledge to demonstrate how Oracle fits into the wider enterprise.
To work closely with the Oracle Solution Architects to define an End to End Solution Architecture that encompasses both Legacy and Oracle Retail systems. This must articulate how the overall Solution supports the end to end Business Process flows through the combination of applications, data flows and integration.
To produce a Solution Roadmap that provides the building blocks for subsequent phases of implementation.
To support the CRP and Design process, helping define the functional solution and non-functional requirements and articulating the technical implications of such.
To lead and participate in the investigation of technical components. To understand the complexity and requirements of the solution and articulate any technical implications.
To be accountable for ensuring solution consistency and scalability across the programme
To set up the Design Authority for My Oracle and hand it over to the Head of Enterprise Solutions to become part of the Enterprise Architecture Design Authority. Represent My Oracle as an active member within that group.
To liaise with business-facing and technical workstreams to identify and resolve interdependencies and inconsistencies
To define and administer the Solution Assurance process and advise on the integrity of the solution at any point in time
To define and manage Design stage checkpoints escalating any design and integration risks and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
To take any cross- functional issue to the Design Authority for review and resolution prior to preparing any case for escalation to Steering Group level.
