Job Title: Data Quality Management Architect
Location: Sacramento, CA
Contract Length: 12 Months (August, 2014 - July, 2015)
Contract Terms: W-2, Salaried, or C-T-C
This is a key position for the organization's development of Data Quality Management processes and standards, to help create the framework necessary to ensure high quality data is created, stored and maintained over the long-term.
The stated required skills for this 1 year contract position include:
1. Ten (10) years of working experience in Information Technology or Information System fields with most experiences in the area of data quality assurance such as data cleansing, data validation, data migration for large complex software systems.
2. Ten (10) years of experience working as a data modeler creating both logical and physical data models for various relational databases.
3. Eight (8) years of experience developing data strategies and associated polices and best practices to promote data security, integrity, quality and consistency.
4. Six (6) years of experience implementing data migration and data testing to ensure data quality, and consistency.
5. Five (5) years of experience analysing business, functional and technical requirements and translating them into requirements for data quality assurance and data quality management.
6. Three (3) years of experience designing and implementing data retention/exchange mechanisms at database level.
7. Demonstrated experience analysing data test results, generating data test reports, identifying defects and/or anomalies, and fine tuning data validation test cases.
8. Demonstrated knowledge of industry or academia frameworks, tools and best practices in the areas of data quality management and data quality assurance.
9. Knowledge and experience overseeing data cleansing and validation portions of entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure data quality and timely defect resolution(s), etc.
10. Experience producing the following documents: data verification & validation requirements, data QM framework that encompasses the standards, processes, tools, and best practices in data quality management at the enterprise level.
11. Proof of achieving a Bachelor's Degree (diploma or transcripts) is also required.
