RISK MANAGER BUSINESS AND OPERATIONS-ASSET MANAGEMENT-GENEVAThe EMPLOYER
Strong Asset Manager having a solid reputation on the local and international market, this employer is today looking for a RISK MANAGER BUSINESS AND OPERATIONS.
The purpose of the role is to identify business risks and to ensure risk management within the investments and distribution divisions.
The requested candidate must have an asset management experience.
The ROLE
You will work closely to the business and your main duties will be to identify business risks and to set up the requested risk management framework. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Business risk identification (financial, reputational, operational risks)
- Support the Head of the department with relevant information and risk mapping
- Act in risk controls, development of appropriate tools
- Provide ad hoc reports
- Support the business at different levels (system, change management, products, etc.)
- Ad hoc project or risk related linked to the Operations and Business management within the Asset Management
The ideal PROFILE
- Master Degree in Finance or Business (or related)
- Min 6-8 years of experience in Risk management of which min. 5 years in Business Risk
- Strong asset management exposure and financial products knowledge
- Previous experience within an Asset Management (Swiss, UK or US)
- Fluent in French and English (German is a plus)
- Analytical skills, organized, eye for detail
- Problem solver, listening skills, able to develop methods and risk framework from scratch
- Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate, with flexibility to travel occasionally in UK
