PHP Developer - 6 Month Contract - Dublin City CentreThere's an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Web developer for a prestigious organisation based in Dublin City Centre.
You will be working on an exciting project that will see you working with a talented team of Web developers on a project that is for a large media organisation.
This is an opportunity to add value to your portfolio and you can be sure you will be sought after by further clients at the end of the project.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Third Level Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Required Experience:
- Strong PHP/Java programming language experience
- Strong communication skills, with clear English language speaking skills
- Experience with PHP Frameworks, in particular Zend
- Experience with (X)HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery or Mootools
- Experience with MySQL/Oracle databases
- Working knowledge of with UNIX/Linux/BSD based operating systems
- Practical experience of distributed revision control systems such Mercurial/Git/subversion
- Solid understanding of web development concepts and architecture (MVC, APIs, etc)
Advantageous:
- Content Management System (CMS) such as Fatwire, Polopoly, Drupal,
- eCommerce System such as Magento
- Experience with Perl/Python and shell scripting
- Experience with Velocity templates
- Experience with Redis key-value datastores
