Description
Candidates should have extensive hands-on experience building BI solutions using Cognos as the predominant BI tool and should be comfortable with the following spec:JOB DUTIES
1. Development of reports and dashboards, as well as enhancements to existing reports; develop auto-event triggered reports.
2. Work with team members to produce and document requirements; develop Business Intelligence solutions based on user needs.
3. Ensure a high degree of data quality by applying industry standards and best practise to design, development, and testing.
4. Produce detailed documentation of design, development, testing and deployment activities.
5. Perform post-development peer reviews and coordinate migration and deployment of Business Intelligence solution components to production and non-production software environments.
6. Maintain source/version control for all Business Intelligence components and documentation.
7. Work with Business Intelligence solution support organisations to report and diagnose problems.
8. Collaborating with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.
SKILLS:
- 2+ Years experience working on Cognos v.10 or above
- DataManager
- Reports Studio
- Framework Manager
- Migration of legacy systems (Cognos 8)
