My client based in Dublin, is looking for a Software Development Business Analyst, for a contract role.
About the Role
Strong technical development skills are necessary and the requirement to have expertise on the Microsoft software development stackThere will be a requirement to provide strong Technical Business Analysis to business owners and users along with showing an ability to gather the requirements and convert these into technical and functional requirements. You will also need to have the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and to explain technical constraints to business audiences.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance TCS, TCS API, WCF Webservices and OData API.
- Maintain, enhance the Service Desk and any other systems, tools etc.
- Fully understand business, functional and technical requirements and what impact it has on various E-business systems.
- Convert business requirements into functional technical requirements and when required specify, develop, test and implement technical solutions to meet the needs of the business
- Work hands-on with external suppliers to ensure requirements are delivered on time and that they deliver quality solutions.
- Manage and control supplier technical deliverables during high level design, development, testing and deployment.

Skills/Experience
- BSc. Degree in Computer Science
- 7+ or more years' experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills in order to work with internal customers, 3rd party suppliers and the eBusiness and IT teams.
- Strong Microsoft .NET development skills
- Experience with ORM/Entity design
- A good understanding of Datamodelling and database design techniques.
- Development skills using OData, Web API, WCF Web Services, MVC 3 And 4
- Microsoft SQL Server )
- TSQL, Dynamic SQL
- SQL Server Management Studio environment & tools
- Datamodelling and design expertise
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably Kentico CMS 7 - 8
