Description
Flint are seeking a Director for IP/MPLS Network Plan/Build/Operate Program for a major NRO in India, based in Mumbai. The key success factor for this project is to o versee the deployment of the IP/MPLS Network, and work at a senior and middle management level in the MNO.
This role requires an experienced NRO PM who is highly resilient and used to working in a robust high pressure working environment. You will be expected to oversee the development and creation of processes and procedures for efficient implementation, as well as effective reporting and issues management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- The primary responsibilities would be to interact with the key C level executives in the MNO and the Vendor
- Would be the SPOC for complete delivery of Program to the end client and internally in the Vendor
- Responsible for Delivery of the Entire Project from a build perspective which includes all the design functionalities
- Familiar with Core PMI competencies as a minimum Integration Management, Stake holder management, Governance & Financial management
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and lead activities of the project to ensure that goals, objectives and all elements of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
- Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arrange for assignment of project personnel.
- Outline work plan to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.
- Prepare and review project reports for presentation to Executive Committee
- Oversee budget, ensure financial accountability.
- Recommend personnel for program/project implementation.
- Recognise and solve potential problems and evaluate project/program effectiveness.
The candidate:
- 20 to 25 years of experience project managing the deployments of large networks for operators
- Should be expert with thought leadership and command over the PM competencies
- Should be a Leader who provides vision, understanding of the Program and provides strategic direction to the team
- Enables Process creations and maintains effective communication in the program execution
- Monitors the aggregate performance of the program and value indicators
