Description
The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for providing quality support, guidance and direction for all manufacturing facilities as well as improving quality systems capability and product quality. This individual will also have to be able to review and troubleshoot product and process specifications and procedures and work cross-functionally with other teams to improve current product design and introduce new products to the market.Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years experience in quality, product design or product engineering in the medical device industry
- Background in Design Controls, Verification and Product Development
- Knowledgeable on FDA, GxP and ISO regulations
- A working knowledge of statistics and practical application
- Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Management Systems (Design Controls, CAPA, Complaints, Document Control, etc)
- Management experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Certification and/or license in specific discipline is desired (e.g. CQE)
- Experience in electro-mechanical/serialized devices
