Description

Through both organic growth and acquisitions, our client is building a new business unit for interface IP, e.g. (LP)DDR, USB, PCI Express, MIPI, AFEs, ADCs/DACs, high speed SerDes.

A key differentiator of our IP business is the customization of IP blocks to specific customer requirements and porting them to different silicon processes. We are now hiring for analog IC designers and layout engineers. This is a great opportunity for an analog IC designer who wants to develop within a mixed customer facing and design role.

Based in Warsaw Poland the successful candidate will take the responsibility for the development and customization of analog IP blocks and subsystems, construct them so as to facilitate porting to multiple process nodes while providing high-quality consistently and reliably, in a customer driven environment. Other responsibilities will include the participation in spec definition and effort estimations, interface with the layout teams on and offsite, produce and present design review documentation according to the internal quality flows and as required to support costumer requirements.

This role is a great opportunity to be part of a growing and ambitious team in an exciting city.

Position Requirements:

- MS in EE or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a relevant suitable combination of education, training and experience.
- Leading knowledge of the whole of the CMOS IC development process - from spec definition, design, post layout verification, manufacture, characterization and production test,
- Experience in at least two of the following areas: High Speed SerDes, ADC and DAC, PLL, LDO, BandGap, Power Management, MIPI and other Interface IPs,
- Track record of delivering successful full-custom analog IP blocks in CMOS technology, from conception to mass production,
- Relevant experience in 65nm design or in more advanced process nodes.
- A strong understanding of design for mass production and for test,
- Prior exposure to IP packaging, ESD, Signal Integrity, Power Integrity topics
- Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation & measurement (preferred)
- In depth knowledge of simulation and modelling tools such as Spectre/RF, HFSS, ADS, MathCad, Matlab and Simulink
- Knowledge of Analog IC Layout techniques, matching, signal integrity, parasitics, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast moving & flexible environment and in multiple projects in parallel,
