Description
Our client, based in Austria, is currently looking for a developer to joing their R&D team. The successful candidate will report to the team leader directly, who in turn reports to the Head of R&D in Austria. The overall responsibility is to think out-of-the box to produce high-quality code for our systems. The successful candidate will not be afraid to ask questions, and will work independently, taking full responsibility for ensuring that the tasks assigned to him/her are done on time, to the highest quality standard. Tasks can include; coding, administration, documentation and bug fixing, as well as any other tasks related to getting and maintaining the customers' channels on-air with our solutions.Key Responsibilities
* Develop a real time media compositor for live production
* Participation in system design sessions
* Code software in accordance with the system design
* Assistance in the production of technical documentation
* Provide support for customer systems
Essential Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in developing applications with C++
* Strong knowledge of C++ and Object Oriented Programming
* Knowledge of OpenGL and digital media a plus
* Unafraid to ask questions or challenge ideas
* Team Player
* Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, fluent German a plus
* Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Engineering/Science or related fields
