Senior Wintel Engineer - Investment Banking - Datacentre - Financial Services - Virtualisation - VMWARE - Infrastructure - Exchange - Active DirectorySenior Wintel Engineer with banking experience required to join a 1st tier investment bank based in the City of London.
Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) + Benefits
Location - City of London
Key Responsibility of a Senior Wintel Engineer:
- Lifecycle management and upgrades to the core network infrastructure
- Take key decisions in respect of the impact of the fault/change on users and the existing infrastructure
- Global 2nd/3rd line support with on-call support
- New solutions research and development
- Managing major exchanges
- Project management of all deliverables
- Maintain device software versions and configurations according to standards and policies
Essential Experience of a Senior Wintel Engineer:
- Strong hands on experience as a Senior Wintel Engineer
- Strong experience in VMware
- Strong AD, Exchange and Windows Server experience
- Hands-on experience supporting high-end critical systems and high-availability systems.
