Description
Our client is an IT Services organisation; who are thought leaders in Infrastructure Services, Workspace, Connectivity and Consulting, is looking for an IT Configuration Analyst to work on their client site based in west Sussex.
You will be required to carry out the following:
Facilitates open communication and discussion between stakeholders
To support and assist with the management of the Configuration and Asset functions which protect the live and training environment and ensuring assets are accounted for and components are accurately reflected in a CMDB
Reviews project deliverables ensuring that changes to the CMDB are appropriately identified
Owns and manages SCCM, ensuring consistency exists between CMDB and SCCM
Ensure that usage of installed software is in keeping with terms and conditions of specific license agreements
Limit overhead associated with managing and supporting software by streamlining and/or auditing IT processes (such as inventory tracking, deployment, issue tracking and patch management)
Researches and suggests development of tools, processes and techniques

Qualifications and experience
Proven ability to build, maintain and influence relationships internally and with third parties
Capability to lead initiatives in line with the needs of the business
Strong co-ordination ability
ITIL V3 Foundation essential
Requirements
Ability to think logically, analyse situations and problem solve
Proven experience in managing, auditing and reviewing large, complex and federated CMDB linked to several supplier's own CMDBs
Knowledge of MS SCCM
Good customer service awareness focus
Proficient in knowledge of the IT infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks etc) and design concepts
Excellent communication and reporting skills
