My client, a large well known FMCG organisation is seeking a highly competent and driven Group Supply Chain Finance business partner with project management experience to join the group supply chain finance team, working cross functionally with the manufacturing operational team to deliver transformation change. This role is a high profile position supporting the key 'blue chip' projects with director level exposure.
The core purpose of the role is to deliver a Business Case to underpin a significant change project. This will include financial modelling and scenario planning. You will also be required to provide Financial Business Partner support on a number of other key projects.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Provide robust financial modelling in a clear and logical manner.
- Work with Factory General Manager to develop the Site strategy.
- Support the delivery of a robust control environment on major projects from both a financial perspective and wider governance.
- Complete the financial evaluation of Site cost savings plan, and support standard cost impacts.
- Track the delivery of major business cases and regularly update to Group Supply Chain Finance.
The successful candidate will be a CIMA qualified accountant with previous experience in a manufacturing environment, understanding costing of shift patterns and experience in another organisation performing Business Case development. You will be competent in financial modelling including: managing, manipulating and analysing data and have decision support experience. Knowledge of SAP processes or other relevant systems and ability to get up to speed quickly on relevant systems is imperative. You will be energetic, ambitious and have the drive to see the project through quickly and effectively.
