Deliver excellent technical support services, with a focus on infrastructure and service improvement.
Responsibilities
Primary:
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents
- Submit and implement infrastructure changes
- Assist with the implementation of projects
- Perform proactive maintenance, health checking and performance management
- Identify areas/tasks that can be automated and implement solutions/scripts to carry out these tasks.
- Use ITSM toolsets for tracking all work progress
Secondary:
- Provision virtual and physical servers, as per customer specifications, within agreed SLA’s.
- Liaise with UK based server provisioning administrators
- Use ITSM toolsets for tracking all work progress
Skills
- Minimum 4 years support experience in a Microsoft environment, with at least 2 years in excess of 500 users
- Minimum 3 years Windows 2003 administration
- Minimum 2 years Windows 2008 administration
- Server hardware management (HP/Dell/IBM)
- VMware ESX 4/5
Desirable
- BMC Remedy
- BMC BladeLogic
- Citrix XenApp 5/6
Essential Qualifications
- MCSE / MCITP: Server Administrator on Windows Server 2003/8)
- VCP or CCA/CCP
