Description
CICS / COBOL developer required for a leading tier one back to join a cross functional team delivering a number of cutting edge ecommerce and mainframe project. This role is a CICS / COBOL role and to apply you must have previously held the position of CICS / COBOL developer on mainframe.This role is based in the centre of Cardiff and you will be paid up to £400 per day on the basis of a six month contract.
Ideally you will have previous experience of working in banking or other large scale commercial environments and have a strong core skill set of CICS / COBOL.
The ideal candidate will also have experience of:
-A working knowledge of Hogan will be a definite advantage to securing this role
-Previous experience of using CICS web support (or CWS) or CICS web gateway is essential
-Job control is automated using Job Control Language (JCL) and change management using CA Endevor, so both of these would be beneficial
