BACKGROUND
A growing NHS Trust in the home counties requires an interim Financial Modeller to support the organisation in its bid to achieve Foundation Trust status.
The Financial Modeller will be responsible for developing the trust's exisiting LTFM and producing bespoke refinements in-line with their FT application requirements.
KEY DUTIES:
- Gathering historical data
- Building analytical tools and models for data preparation
- Populating LTFM(s) for scenarios
- Updated LTFM data to reflect current forecasts and assumptions
- Providing a narrative for all assumptions used in modelling
- Ensuring delivery of all associated analysis
- Ensuring the LTFM is consistent with Monitor's criteria for Foundation Trust status authorisation
- Supporting and advising the Director of Finance
- Ad-hoc assignments
KEY SKILLS:
- Accountancy background
- NHS provider experience
- Supported an FT application
- LTFM scenario modelling
- Advanced Excel skills
Rate is negotiable and will be determined based on the quality and experience of the successful applicant.
