Our client is recruiting for an Electrical Building Services Engineer to join their Buildings & Infrastructure Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a different business focus to develop or expand on their Electrical Building Services experience in a very challenging and fast paced business environment. This is an initial 6 month contract paying up to £25.69 per hour/Ltd

Qualifications and Experience
*Chartered Engineer (MIET/MCIBSE) or working towards professional registration with significant relevant experience
*Typically Degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline.
*City & Guilds 17th Edition Qualified
*Sustainability/Energy/Environmental based qualifications will be an advantage.
*Project management qualification (APM Member)
*At least 5 year's experience in Electrical building services engineering design and project management with proven customer delivery performance and demonstrable knowledge of associated and contributory domains
*Good working experience across project life cycle phases, demonstrating a whole-life approach to engineering
*Experienced at leading teams of engineers on projects
*Experience of work on military establishments
*Good organisation, communication skills and report writing skills
*CAD/Revit an advantage

Key Responsibilities
*Building services design and design management, both in the UK and overseas, and provide day to day engineering guidance to projects. The role will require travel in the UK and overseas
*Provide effective leadership of multi-disciplined teams on projects
*Ensure effective delivery of projects in accordance with contract technical schedule and budget requirements
*Provide expert advice to internal and external clients on sustainability, energy and low carbon building designs and systems
*Seek & share good practice & knowledge to continuously improve own practices and remain up-to-date with relevant technology
*Support team in matters of technical understanding and areas of own expertise
*Work within the engineering frameworks set out by engineering management
*Responsible for ensuring all statutory, regulatory and customer SHE policies are complied with
*Responsible for compliance with the clients security policies

Due to the nature of the role potential candidates must be eligible for UK eyes only security clearance.
