Description
We are looking for our client, a financial institution located in Luxembourg, for external support by a
IT Security Engineer (Linux) (f/m) financial area Luxembourg
Your responsibilities
Perform operational activities in order to maintain Linux/Unix environments in accordance with the relevant security policies, standards and procedures
Identify area of improvement and propose enhancements to existing environments
Perform implementation and deployment of the new security solutions and processes
Maintain a high level of procedural documentation in with the international standards of Quality Management.
Our requirements
Ability to work in a customer-facing role, attention to detail and a service-orientated attitude
Fluency in written and spoken English; French or German would be a distinct advantage
Knowledge and understanding of the RedHat, Linux audit and security concepts and Scripting languages (eg Ksh, Bash, Perl) is a mandatory requirement
Knowledge and understanding of Oracle RDMS would be a plus point
Experience in the Access right management and Monitoring are would be a plus point
Knowledge and understanding of the Windows security concepts would be plus point
Additional information
start date: immediate/as soon as possible
end date: after approximately 5 months (by end of 2014, no extension beyond that date is currently foreseen)
basis: full-time
