The Company

Consol Partners are currently looking for a Cloud/OpenStack DevOps consultant to work for our client, a global well-known company based in Antwerp - Belgium. The client has a number of products across multiple domains and is known for their innovation when it comes to consumer experience. The client has been very successful over the last ten years where they have seen a huge increase in user activity. The organisation has been running for over twenty years.

The Role

The work will be based in Antwerp in Belgium. They have a very flexible budget for the right person, but above all they want someone who will be passionate about the project, has a genuine interest in helping the organisation grow and will have innovative ideas to share with the team.

The Individual

The successful candidate will have the following skill set:

  • Extensive Server Side experience with Python AND/OR Ruby
  • Cloud experience with OpenStack and other technologies like AWS.
  • Strong experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
  • Storage knowledge with HDFS
  • Extensive Linux experience.
  • Good experience with performance and Caching, and Security.
  • Experience working with distributed systems.
