Description
A client based in Shropshire is looking for a mechanical project engineer with food, beverage, water or pharmaceutical experience. This will be for an initial 5 month contract.
Role:
The candidate will be leading the team and will need safety experience.
She/he will also need to have experience with:
- Site surveys to establish project requirements
- Design of hygienic process plant
- Process flow diagrams and P&ID's
- Plant and pipe work layouts (Interaction with Design Engineers)
- Equipment scheduling
- Equipment specification
- Production of site installation enquiry documents
- Procurement of equipment and installation activities
- Develop construction phase plans
- Inspection of plant equipment & components on client sites and supplier premises
- Quality
- Technical compliance
- Programme compliance
- Understanding and awareness of Health & Safety (Ideally trained)
- Understanding of working to a quality system ie ISO9001
Therefore experience working with mechanical engineering and site installation management would be advantageous.
