Service Acceptance Analyst sought for a large project in Edinburgh

Description:

As part of a new contract with an agency of the Devolved Government in Scotland, AFRC, our client has been contracted to deliver a new suite of IT applications to support EU Common Agricultural Policy reform in 2015 to distribute grants to the farming community in Scotland. They are therefore looking to assemble a large development team, based on site in Edinburgh, working with the clients IT staff, in blended teams. RPID are the business area responsible for rural payments within AFRC.

Job Description:

*Junior Analyst required to support and document the development of the Test and Cutover process and the overall acceptance into service process.
*Process to cover testing of the following: Service Scenarios, DR, Operational input to OAT.

Essential Skills:

*2+ years' experience in IT service with knowledge of ITIL framework
*Sets own deadlines for delivery and keeps team leader updated of progress
*Self-motivated and committed individual
*Ability to establish effective working relations with immediate staff and other staff
*Good communication skills at all levels
*Ability to work to own initiative
*Ability to write and maintain clear and concise documentation
*Fluent English written and spoken
