My client, a large public sector organisation, is currently looking for a customer payments project manager to join their team in Swansea. The candidate will be required to travel to the Bristol site roughly 25% of the time.

The individual will retain ownership and accountability for delivery of the Customer Payments Management System and the quality assurance and overall integrity of the project.

Essential Experience:

  • A minimum of 3years experience of design and implementation of financial payment systems, preferably accounts receivable in a commercial blue chip environment
  • Ideally some working knowledge in government organisations
  • Oracle integration experience
  • Good working knowledge of accounting processes and terminology in a high transactional volume organisation
  • Demonstrate tangible achievements in a software-centric delivery life cycle
  • Relevant experience in IT delivery in a multi-vendor environment
  • Relevant experience of communicating effectively at Programme and Board Level Management on a regular basis
  • Proven experience in managing teams and proactively identifying and rectifying performance issues
  • Demonstrable knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects both in a PRINCE2 and AGILE based environments

The role is being offered on an initial 6 month contract paying up to £540/day. All applicants must be prepared to travel from Swansea to Bristol when required.
