Description
Our client requires a Messaging consultant to provide support/Migration for a complex messaging environment servicing a multi-entity organization for more than 20,000 mailboxes, and several hundred mobile devices. Working as a member of a support team and should have the migration experience.
Skills required:
- Exchange 2007 or above
- deployment/Support/Migration exposure
- Experience 2-4 years
A technically knowledgeable, customer service oriented person with an excellent work ethic is essential.
Essential Job Duties
* Provides support to end-users and troubleshoot all messaging issues. Candidate with migration experience preferred. ( Lotus to exchange, Exchange to exchange).
* Experience on migration tools like quest, Binary tree, Bnator.
* Troubleshoot and isolate to component level and complete to resolution. Channel irresolvable issues to the next level (Desktop, Server, Calendaring, mail routing etc
* Assists with the monitoring of the mail system.
* Creates new users and rectifies existing users as needed.
* Provision mobile devices (Blackberry, WM, Smart-Phones, MDM etc).
* Mobile/ActiveSync User Administration
* Administration of Enterprise Vault server
* Support messaging related applications (Instant Messaging, Encryption, Spam Filtering, EFTP etc
* Participate in planning and testing of new system software and development of system roll-out/implementation strategies
* Exchange DR Server installation and exchange database interoperability with DR Server in case of disaster
