UI Developer/Web Developer (contract)
We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate and innovative UI Developer/Web Developer to join our development team.
What you will be doing:
- Develop the UI style guide and create design specs
- Contribute to all phases of software development, design, implementation, unit testing, integration and release
- Document detailed component designs based on business requirements
- Clearly communicate technical designs, estimates, prioritisation and other development issues
- Work in a fast-paced agile environment
- Any other responsibilities as required from time to time
Technical expertise
- Passion for user experience (UX) and usability
- Ability to create visual designs across multiple platforms
- Experience in the design of web pages with HTML, CSS3 and Javascript
- Strong experience with developing mobile and web UI designs
- Experience of implementing pixel-perfect designs
- In-depth industry experience providing visual design solutions for Web and software applications
- Fluency in best practices for Web design and user-centered design principles
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Web design, or other equivalent professional experience
- Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interest in the user's everyday needs and being an advocate for all users
Technical expertise
- A strong online portfolio demonstrating a critical eye for typography, layout, and colour
- Experience with responsive design
- Experience with Angular JS
