Our client a large manufacturing Oil and Gas company is seeking a senior Cognos Developer to join their team in Houston, TX.The ideal candidate will be responsible for design, development, implementation, maintenance and support activities for enterprise wide reporting, BI, and planning.
To be considered you will have a strong background in the design and development of TM1 Solutions and able to operate at developer level. You should have the ability to interact with Business teams and get the requirements, propose design etc and back this up with a number of previous successful end-to-end Cognos TM1 implementations.
- Required A Bachelor degree in computer science, other science major or a combination of relevant experience in similar roles.
- 5-10+ years experience working with TM1 (implementation and maintenance) ERP systems (Axiom, SAP, Oracle EBS or similar)
- 2+ years of recent experience with Cognos TM1, including TM1 Web, Insight and TM1 Contributor or Hyperion Essbase.
- Requires hands-on Data Warehouse, Metadata and OLAP engines and models, star schema, ETL, Analytics Application and Multidimensional Reports experience
- Must have proven experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SSIS and SSRS or in a comparable relational database.
- Cognos TM1 Developer and User Certifications preferred.
