CAD Engineer - WarringtonHuxley Engineering and one of the UK's leading names in Water Division are looking to recruit CAD Engineer on permanent basis to join their office in Warrington. This is due to succession planning to meet demand on projects and business growth in .
Reporting to the Design Manager the roles will be working on projects predominately
in the Water/Waste Water industry.
The CAD Engineer shall be responsible for producing the Process & Instrumentation
Diagrams, General Arrangement Drawings & any detailed drawings that are required
on multiple schemes using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Plant 3D.Your main responsibilities as CAD Engineer (but not limited to) are:
- Outline engineering from inception to completion of schemes.
- The timely completion of multiple concurrent projects, safely & within budget.
- Co-ordinate & liaise with mechanical, electrical, civil designers, subcontractor & suppliers.
- Attend design reviews, internally & externally.
- Attend site visits for surveying & attending meetings.
- Design verification & validation.
- Evaluation of potential hazards through design risk assessments.
- Control of changes & effect during design & development process.
- Identification & correction of problems.
- Potential Impacts on the Environment.
Skills & qualifications required:
- AutoCAD Experience essential.
- Min 2 years experience within a Design Office, preferably in Water/Waste Water Treatment.
- Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualified - Graduate, HND minimum.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Ability to organise and prioritise.
- Self motivation.
- Be proactive in their approach.
- An excellent communicator.
- A high level of diplomacy and customer focused.
