Description
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES1. To contribute to the development and implementation of commercial objectives and strategies for product(s) in the Consumer Healthcare arena
a. Assess and interpret literature, internal research and provide expertise on safety and effectiveness of products
b. Partner in developing campaigns with larger team which are scientifically supportable and commercially focused
c. Contribute to the development and approval of key communication messages and materials for professionals and consumers
2. To review and advise on suitability of new products from a clinical, claims, and safety perspective
a. To ensure the provision of informed medical and scientific opinion to EMEA Regulatory Affairs and Marketing
b. To prepare and provide, subject to defined review procedures, expert summaries and rationales for onward transmission to European regulatory authorities in support of the introduction of new consumer products, or in the maintenance of licenses of established products
c. To provide safety and efficacy sections of product technical Information for EMEA Consumer Healthcare products

3. To be a credible internal subject matter expert. Provision of scientific advice and information in response to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders and ensuring that the standard response documents used by medical information are accurate and up to date.
4. To be trained in and remain compliant with appropriate Company Operating Procedures.
EDUCATION
Degree in Pharmacy or a Life Science or Medic
EXPERIENCE
* Experience in the Pharmaceutical/OTC Industry within a medical role (must have copy review experience if a medical information background)
* Previous experience within consumer healthcare / OTC would be an advantage
* Working knowledge of relevant advertising codes of practice (e.g. PAGB/ABPI)
