Adworkshop seeks a mid-level designer with 5+ years of design experience. Applicant must have experience presenting/executing original and compelling creative concepts in the marketing industry. Designer will research, develop and execute a range of design solutions, including user experience, for both print and web projects. Ideal candidate has commercial experience designing large-scale content rich sites, complex workflows, and framework-level interactions.
Comes with the Territory:
- Graphic design, interactive design and front-end website development
- Translate wireframes into user-friendly design comps and turn designs into functional prototypes using HTML, CSS
- Translate business requirements into elegant, innovative and intuitive design solutions, balancing user needs with business goals and technological constraints
- Work closely with teams to ensure that design specifications are correctly implemented and, as required, to integrate prototypes within CMS frameworks under tight deadlines
- Help establish and reinforce consistent interaction design patterns across platforms
- Organize and architect content/features/functionality for new and existing websites and applications
- Create detailed, organized, and readable documentation including concept models, use cases, personas, site maps, user/task flows, wireframes, and functional specifications
- 5+ years designing experience across mediums and device platforms
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both online and dynamic printed projects
- Ability to develop simple and elegant design approaches to complex design problems
- Strong comfort level and flexibility with an organic and iterative design process through wireframing and prototyping
- Knowledge of capabilities/limitations of current web technologies such as responsive HTML5, CSS3 and JQuery
- Knack for creating hand-crafted prototypes via semantic HTML & CSS
- Proficiency in Adobe CS suite and Mac/PC platform
