Job Role: Project Maintenance Engineer
Work Location: Ijmuiden / Amsterdam
Job Spec:
Competencies Project Maintenance Engineer (PME)
1. Good communications skills (written\speaking) with all levels within the working Units (ranging from technician to management), but also sometimes with contractors (other languages).
2. Drive for the results from the perspective of the working unit (production and maintenance). Must understand the project dynamics and sometimes improvise to reach the final results
3. Problem solving and decision making and bring the right people together to fix the problems. Sometimes you have to make decisions in order to monitor the progress.
4. Project and structured work, see the big picture (not stuck in details).
5. Speaks fluent Dutch and English
Substantive knowledge Project Maintenance Engineer (PME)
1. Knowledge of various maintenance processes such as FMECA and RAMSHE
• Reliability,
• Availability,
• Maintainability,
• Safety,
• Health,
• Environment
2. Affinity with technology, must understand all diciplines in a certain kind of level (average not expert), because you have to communicate with all kind of engineers
3. Knowledge of Document Control, SAP DMS, SAP PM and SAP MM. The systematics / procedures must be understood.
4. Oversee project decisions for the future and coordinate possible consequences of that decisions ( do not the operational activities by yourself)
