Duties

· Develop and execute the Medical Information strategy and annual plans for specific therapeutic area

· Manage feedback from global standard responses on assigned therapeutic area/products to ensure completeness and timeliness of information

· Collect and report Medical Information metrics for assigned therapeutic area/products and/or for cross-portfolio areas of responsibility

Training and Compliance

· Ensure the quality and scientific accuracy of global standard responses

· support development and implementation of best practices, minimum standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), business processes and training materials for Medical Information Support affiliates in preparing for audits and inspection readiness

· Ensure activities are carried out in full compliance with internal SOPs, industry guidelines, governing laws and regulations

· As assigned, support development of communications and training materials for use in Global Medical Information and conduct training sessions Maintain Medical Information systems

Communication/Other

· Build an exemplary reputation for medical information/ communications expertise both internally and externally

· Establish, promote and maintain effective working relationships with various departments

· Support other initiatives or projects in Medical Information

· Incorporate learning's and recommendations from projects, other work and best practices into future work

Skills

· 2 or more years' professional experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry

· Previous medical information/medical communications experience is preferred

· Experience in key markets in which Roche operates Relevant therapeutic area experience is preferred Solid medical writing experience

· Strong written and verbal communication in English and ability to prepare and deliver clear and effective presentations

· Fluency in an additional language is a plus

Education

· Clinical, life sciences, or health care degree (BA, BS, RN); advanced degree preferred (e.g. PharmD, RPh, PhD, MD)

· Experience (1-2 years) within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, preferably with experience in medical information
