Description
Key Responsibilities- Work with Technology, Finance & Sourcing team to facilitate the development of pricing & allocation model blueprint across Vendor managed Infrastructure Services stack
- Understand and document the mechanics of vendor billing, clearly define RnR within GT and Finance group for activities related validation and approval process of the vendor bill / consumption / billing inventories
- Analyze the technology infrastructure pricing & allocation model, identify synergies between the two models, establish the best approach and support proposal development related activities
- Help design, build and implement the allocation & pricing model
- Understand the client allocation operational process, establish the change required from tools perspective to facilitate the monthly billing/chargeback of vendor cost
- Establish the financial impact of the change in allocation model across the internal client stack
- Support senior management in the preparation of MI in response to Service based question
Skills / Knowledge required
- Knowledge of IT Services cost allocation/chargeback model
- Ability to understand core economic drivers of IT services and products
- A basic understanding of core drivers for IT services (business requirements, cost components, etc.)
- A basic understanding of accounting principles (Cost vs. Revenue & Capital vs. Expense) P&L, Balance Sheet, capitalisation, etc.
- Excellent computer literacy including MS Excel and PowerPoint, with a proven ability to interrogate large datasets, identifying key points and summarising them clearly and concisely
- Ability to understand core economic drivers of services and products
Qualifications
- Formal accounting qualification is beneficial
- Bachelors or higher
- 3-5yrs of experience in related field in IT strategy consulting/ Sourcing
