A great opportunity has arisen for a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join a globally recognised, Leeds based, consultancy on a 12 month contract. There is also the chance that you may need to travel to various sites across Europe with this contract opportunity so please ensure that you can drive and own a car.The ideal candidate will have experience of working with the technologies below;
Microsoft SA. Wireless, LAN and WAN (Leased lines) networking.
Antivirus & firewalls.
Data backup solutions.
Familiarity with all recent versions of Microsoft Windows & Office (2000/XP/7/8).
Windows Server 2000/03/08/12. Microsoft Exchange . Citrix PS 4.5.
VMware (vSphere 4 to 5.5) and Microsoft (Hyper-V ) virtualization systems.
Dell PowerEdge Servers (including M1000 blade system).
PowerConnect networking and Equallogic SANs (iSCSI).
HP Procurve switches, CheckpointUTM and Juniper SSG firewalls.
It is essential that you have strong implementation skills and a solid background supporting the Infrastructure of a variety of companies.
