Description
The site is for a food tour company, with integrated events calendars and shop/payment systems (the site will be selling no real items but tours that are on the calendar).There will be individual city pages and a main overall page.
We want a light and bright look & feel.
Non-busy / non-overwhelming design, positive user experience and ease of booking are essential.
On the homepage we would like a header/masthead with logo; a main area with big picture slide show area (each picture linking to a specific subpage or post); events calendar with booking capability; vignettes for various other main subpages we want to take the user to; dropdown menus for where/when/what
Other elements we want to have on the site are a map, reviews of venues, a blog, how to, faq, imprint/contact.
The site absolutely has to be mobile device compatible.
The booking system needs to have a form where we can collect certain information from the user (so, not just a pick an item and pay system but one with a formpage).
Webhosting is done on Godaddy.
